General Comments

Pros
- Long and flexible hours, they are open until late late late (read 11pm) at night
- Professional front staff, email booking reminders, encouragement to book follow up on your way out
- Wide variety of products (Hair and beauty)
- Students/apprentices who wash your hair and finish minor components of the services generally very polite, professional and well trained
Cons
- Personally, I have tried only one stylist, Ch***.
Initially the service was good, but after 3 visits of asking to go back to my "natural"blonde from dark brown, and even showing pictures of what I wanted, I left with the same medium brown with yellow brassy highlights - when I pionted out that my hair looked like I did a pull through pharmacy highlight job in my bathroom, she responded that she has no idea what I want then and that I should bring a photo of my self with the hair that I want (remember, I did bring a picture)
- she really pushes product which is not bad if it helps maintain your style and color, but even after I told her that a particular brand does not work for me, and after she remarked herself that it really faded my color and did not help the condition of my hair, she still wanted me to buy it
- She is very chatty, which could be good, but not so much if she doesn't pay attention to what you tell her about not being happy with the particular service
- does offer to "fix" a mistake of an experimental toner she tried, but I would have had to pay to have my hair styled afterwards, which is not that good at all, I mean, she has to fix her mistake, I am not asking for a change to what I wanted initially, so for good will, I'd have recommended doing it all for free had I been in her position

In conclusion, I am trying a different stylist there, and guess that as a salon their service is good, but I am not happy with this particular stylist. Hopefully she will improve as she matures, but I am no longer paying her to do something I don't want.

Jen L consistently gives a great cut! Very friendly and professional salon. They always offer juice, coffee, tea before your cut - a nice touch.

I only go for the cut, but I'm sure there's many out there who would really appreciate all of the other services they offer here.
