General Comments

Tell all your friends. Ken Pass is the biggest rip off. God forbid you run into any problems. He told me those are extra, running 300 per hour. And his cheap rate of 325 is actually 575 after he includes special rate fees not mentioned in his brochure.

General Comments

In my opinion this woman has got to one of the most unfriendly, unhelpful lawyer I have ever come across. She has an edge about her and her manner is similiar to a lizard's. She does not seem to care that much about potential clients and appears to be very indifferent about their plight. I wanted to go with a a woman lawyer to handle my divorce and I trusted my gut instinct and went with another lawyer. Her manner is gruff, abrupt and non empathic.

General Comments

In my opinion this has to be the worst lawyer in Winnipeg. My lawyer won my custody battle in 2009 against my ex and his was lawyer Marta Smith. The judge whom happened to be a 20 year+ senior judge in family law in Winnipeg, not only chastised Marta on her tactics, but also awarded all court costs to be paid to me from her client my ex. This judge has been known to never typically do so. Marta then in 2011 stopped myself from a financial transaction that another lawyer in her office was handling. I call this absolutely unprofessional, unethical and just plain ridiculous some lawyer!!!! I guess losing a court case and having your client pay court costs stings years later ....pass it on hard to believe she has been practising for 33 years!
