Description:
Fair sized pub at Smith and Ellice in the Malborough Hotel. Has a couple of pool tables, VLTs, and usually some live bands or open mike nights.

General Comments
I really like this place, it's cozy, the live music's usually entertaining and interactive, the beer selection's pretty good, and it's usually quiet enough that you can head there with a group of friends and have a good time. The neighbourhood's not great, but it's only a block away from Portage and I've never heard of an incident in the Beagle. Should check it out if you're sick and tired of the same ole' downtown pubs.
