General Comments

Along with 2 girlfriends, I arrived at Hermanos on a friday night, 6:30 and was to told there would be a 20 minute wait until we could be seated in the lounge. I was advised there are no reservations taken for the lounge.There were two groups ahead of us and they were both seated within an hour and a bit - so 20 mins was not so accurate. 10 minutes later a table opens and we are not seated. I approched the owner and asked, "Since we are next to be seated can we sit at that table?"
Owner, "no, its reserved"
Me, " Is that part of the lounge, I was told ther are no reservation taken for the lounge?"
Owner, " It's not available for you to reserve, It is available for me to reserve?"
Keep in mind 20 min wait and we are now into 1hr 10 mins, and I was just spoken to with extreme rudeness and not sure why.
Another table opens up 2 mins later my freinds and I look at eachother and say oh well now we'll get seated.
Owner grabs a list that was from a girl that had been working the door, Looks past us and says, "Mike" the guy says, "no Adam"
Owner, "Adam, good come this way."
Well now it is needless to say we are ANGRY, long story - short we finally get seated to keep us quiet.
In case you're wondering all three of us are mid 30's to 40 year old professionals

General Comments

It was a TGIF evening at Hermanos last night. I've been there a few times now and each time has been a relatively pleasurable experience. We ordered the empanadas again and they were quite yummy. Their home made chip are addictive (as all chips should be); but the ribeye skewers were just average (for the price). The one man band was loud enough to sound like a full band of 5, which unfortunately did not provide a good atmosphere for conversation if you are sitting too close....but nothing against his musical talent though. We had an attentive waitress who was very engaging in conversation. The management/owner was very friendly and again inquired about the quality of service. I must say that their price for full wine bottles must be one of the best in the 'peg!

General Comments

We had 3 tapas (appetizers) and all were very good. Drink selection is wide, including a good selection of wines from S America and some regional cocktails, like a pisco sour from Chile. The waitress was very attentive.
