Fairly small walk-in clinic in the Boyd building on Portage. It used to be a budget clinic on the 10th floor, but they just moved down to the main level and everything feels new and clean. Only a couple of doctors on site, but the building seems to offer other services, including x-rays.

Went in to the walk-in clinic right when it opened and was pleased to see that there were only two patients ahead of me. I did wait just shy of two hours because the patients who came in after me were all appointments and I understand that I'm a first time walk-in so they will get to me when they can. That being said, if I had gone to my usual clinic, waiting for three to four hours would be typical and the one doctor would rush me in and out, barely explaining anything and just prescribing antibiotics. However, the doctor I did see was very attentive and patient. Although I was only in because of a bad flu, she asked me to describe my symptoms in detail, from onset to present. She then confirmed that it definitely was a particularly bad flu strain; when I mentioned that I have a history with respiratory infections, she did some further examinations before confirming that it was neither an infection nor was there any other condition exacerbated by the flu. She then explained that what I was doing was good (keeping hydrated, getting lots of rest, etc), talked about flu facts in general, and then told me (with a smile) to hang in there, because I've gotten over the worst of it. :) The reception staff was professional and polite and the clinic itself looks very new and clean. I appreciated that the waiting area actually spanned two areas because it's always struck me as unhygienic to pack in a bunch of sick people like sardines. Several patients came in with children and there was ample room for them to walk about and not bother others. Overall, a very positive experience that makes me wonder why the hell I put up with my previous clinic for over fifteen years! I will definitely be coming to this clinic in the future. |

| The staff were friendly and accomodating and the doctor was so nice and caring that it was a wonderful experience compared to my visits with other "unfriendly" walk-in doctors. Bravo! | |

General Comments
| Advertised a dentist but they do not have a dentist in the clinic. I was sent upstairs to the 7th floor to metropolitan dental centre. They were great. Fit me in quickly and fixed my problem. |

| Great doctors, very caring. Not the rushy type of doctors. Not that long of a wait depending on what time of day you go there at. I've been to this doctor's office quite a few times for myself and my son. The mornings are the best time to go. Oh, and if you have a prescription, they have a pharmacy in the building not too far from the office! Friendly staff, most of the time.... | |

General Comments
| I used to head to the Citi Place medical clinic when I needed a doctor and was downtown, but recently stumbled across the Boyd building and saw they had a walk-in. My first visit, there was nobody waiting, I was in and out within 10 minutes, and the doctor was very nice. My second visit, they had moved to the main floor, still no wait, and I was taken care of promptly. Virtually every other walk-in I've been to has made me wait 1-5 hours, this is a great find!! | |
